1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the sale of goods by TEC (“we”, “us”, “our”) via our website shop.tec.ie . 

By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.  

2. Products

We supply hydraulic components, hoses, fittings, and related industrial products. 

All product descriptions, specifications, and prices are subject to change without notice.  

3. Orders

• • • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability 

• • • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order 

• • • Once confirmed, orders may not be modified without our written agreement  

4. Prices and Payment

• • • All prices are listed in € (euro) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise 

• • • Payment must be made in full before goods are dispatched unless agreed otherwise 

Goods and licenses remain strictly the property of the Vendor until paid for in full.  

5. Delivery

• • • Delivery times are estimates only 

• • • We are not liable for delays outside our control 

• • • Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery  

6. Returns and Refunds

• • • Special orders and non-stock items are not returnable 

• • • Returns will not be accepted without prior written agreement 

• • • Approved returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge 

7. Claims

Liability cannot be accepted for shortages, breakages, or non-delivery unless written notice is received within 7 days from the date of invoice. 

 8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: 

• • • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses 

• • • Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied 

9. Warranty

• • • Products are supplied in accordance with manufacturer specifications 

• • • No additional warranties are provided unless stated in writing 

• • • The customer is responsible for ensuring product suitability 

10. Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock availability issues, or suspected fraud. 

 11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, supply chain disruption, or strikes. 

 12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. 

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
